ONO
Shaping the future of sustainable logistics begins with the ambition to transform last-mile delivery into a cleaner, smarter, and more human-centered experience.
Through a design approach that unites substantial cargo capacity with superior weather protection, delivery becomes both practical and comfortable for drivers and efficient for fleet managers.
The result is the ONO, a revolutionary vehicle that outperforms traditional vans, Sprinters, and transporters, offering a highly effective alternative to conventional delivery solutions.

The new cycles of mobility
Our cities have been grappling with challenges for quite a while now. The constant increase in demand for our existing infrastructure, like our streets, is causing a real headache. Big cities like Berlin, London, and Paris are stuck in mind-boggling traffic jams and gridlocks. It's about time we start reimagining how our urban traffic works, break free from outdated structures and vehicles, and pave the way for a more efficient and eco-friendly future.
Traffic and pollution
These infrastructure problems are also taking a toll on our quality of life. The more cars and combustion engines crowd our streets, the less room there is for green spaces in our cities. This imbalance leads to poor air quality, chronic diseases, stress, and, not to forget, increased heat in densely populated urban areas.
Teamwork is key
Within the design team, comprised of myself and Murat Günak (the former head of Design at Volkswagen), we effectively harnessed each other's skills and experiences. Moreover, seamless collaboration with engineers, suppliers, and marketing teams played a crucial role in our process.
Seemless Workflows
It was essential not only to scale up the design process but also to transition into a three-dimensional approach in order to create functional prototypes and design concepts. To achieve this, we had to skillfully combine a variety of techniques.

Workflow
To match the load capacity and efficiency of today's cargo sprinters, we must incorporate an interchangeable container system that enables swift changes. Ready-to-use full containers are readily available at city hubs, allowing for easy exchange through rear-mounted sliders on the bike.

Storage
Each container boasts a 2m³ volume, providing direct access to parcels and goods from the right side, right behind the messenger's entrance point, as well as from the rear. Prioritizing ergonomics was essential to deliver the ultimate user experience.

Weather
In addition to the container system and city hub infrastructure, the cabin, offering enhanced weather protection, represents a straightforward yet substantial advancement over competitors in the market. The bike's efficiency truly shines when a person can comfortably deliver for 8 hours a day, regardless of challenging conditions such as wind, cold temperatures, and rainfall.

Fully electrified Bike
Not only is the Container exchangeable at the city hub also the compact battery pack is changeable and delivers another range of up to 30km.

A Revolution on our streets.
Reducing the number of cargo vehicles used for last-mile delivery equates to creating more room for a greener urban future and an enhanced quality of life. This change is the transformation we require.

Proudly assembled in Berlin. Now making waves across all of Germany!
